Why would Professor Snape be in trouble for assisting a student who was unwell due to exhaustion? Filch might have no empathy for an exhausted student, but he's hardly in a position to get a Professor in trouble for doing his duty--even if the brat is a Ravenclaw instead of one of Snape's Slytherins. Snape looks out for ALL students, whether he likes them or not.

of course he looks out for everyone. But he was alone, at night, in a corridor, hugging her because she fainted. He covered her to avoid Filch to see to avoid him to spread fake rumours which could cost him his job.

Duh. Dude, because thats not what it looks like. Filch doesn't know she "fainted" all he knows is some young busty girl is in his arms.. in the middle of the night.. just the two of them... Mhhhhh, what would your first thought be if you were a paranoid person? lol

Since the girl looks only eleven or twelve, I figured no one in his right mind would imagine anything improper. And if Filch (who is, admittedly, not necessarily in his right mind) DID have some perverse idea, his status is so low that no one would believe him over a Professor. As a Head of House, Snape often has to care for children who are ill, and would be expected to do so in an emergency when a student's own Head of House is not available.

This is what comes of not knowing the backstory. Having only the drawing to go by, I saw "sick child being supported," not "sexy teenager being embraced." The drawing definitely does not show the girl as "busty," though that in itself does not indicate that she's young. Not everyone grows big boobs. It's her face that makes her look twelve.

I'm not criticizing, by the way. It's just the way I saw the picture.

Girl, take life a little easy~ No need to be so uptight when it comes to a picture. In now adays, it doesn't matter what is, but what it looks like. thats kinda what this picture is about. Its kind of a funny, cute, sweet, picture. one that deplays the fun diffrence of how something is and how something is taken. Just because the truth is, don't mean uptight people wont try and turn it to something else~

My point was that the situation did NOT look sexual to me, and was therefore nothing to get uptight about, by viewers or by anyone within the story. Filch was the one who was needlessly uptight. I saw the situation as entirely innocent.

Not a big deal.

Janach, I can explain you the backstory in order you understand the situation. Of course Snape is not in love with her. He's just doing his job and trying to avoid Filch to put his nose on his business. She's under detention because she was out of the bed out of hour. But before he could lead her into the sickbay, she simply fainted. About Filch... I don't think his low state will count if he screams he has seen the most hated teacher in Hogwarts holding a student in the corridors at night, without paying attention to the resto fo the story. And what happens with her boobs? Snape is not a guy who's looking for that kind of girl, since what touched him the most was the kindness of a GIRL with NO boobs when they two were childrens. Snape is NOT interested in physically appearance. But also, don't forget, this is just MY version. I'm trying Snape to have the most similar behavior as possible to the work of mr. Rickman (yeah, he's my reference, so what? I've not read the books yet.), but I also have my own ideas and situations for this character.
